Unforgettable Evening of Food, Wine, and Laughter in Sorrento.
Last night I joined the Gourmet Girls Italy Bella Sorrento Sera Progressive Dinner Food and Wine Evening Tour and it was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. The tour not only tantalised our taste buds with incredible local cuisine but also introduced us to a delightful array of wines that perfectly complemented each dish. Amidst the sumptuous feasting, we found ourselves forging new friendships, all while sharing in the joyous atmosphere created by our wonderful hosts, Vanessa and Lee. Every bite was a revelation, every sip a delight, and every moment filled with laughter and merriment. We left with full hearts, full bellies, and unforgettable memories. Excellent lunch time food tour.
We had an excellent lunch time tour visiting four different restaurants/bars. Vanessa and Lee were so friendly and were great hosts and very knowledgeable about Italian life and food culture. The food, wine, limoncello and coffee we had on the tour were wonderful and there was a lot of it! The tour is highly recommended - I also recommend you don't eat breakfast!

Fantastic and great value for money!

A great evening
Myself and a friend joined the Gourmet Girls last night for the evening tour and what fun we had! I’ve lived in the south of Italy for many years but still managed to learn many new things about local food and wine all whilst having a lot of fun. The food we tried was fantastic and plentiful. I’m vegetarian and was diligently catered for and others had allergies which were taken very seriously and with care. I came to the evening knowing that we would have lots of fun but I was impressed with how knowledgeable and professional the gourmet girls were. They were really great hosts who shared their knowledge and life openly. They explained many things about local customs and family life. We were a small group and we all enjoyed ourselves. We made new friends and learnt new things whilst having a lot of laughs. A really great evening which I would recommend to anyone. Another really nice point is that the tour is based in the less touristic end of town. We visited places which are less well known to the every day visitor. Each place we visited was a family business and some are places which I am sure would have been undiscovered had we not joined the tour. Fun times and fabulous food!
We had the most wonderful food tour with Lee and Vanessa. Both women are so warm, friendly, and funny--the laughs began within the first few moments and didn't stop for three hours. The food was fantastic, we met wonderful new people, and gained so much knowledge about food and culture in Sorrento. We even returned to some of the spots later in the week to enjoy more of the delicious food and drinks. I have already recommended this tour to friends travelling to Italy, and I would do another tour with the Gourmet Girls myself if I return to this part of the country! Absolutely fabulous!
Hands down our favourite part of our honeymoon! These ladies know how to do food! We had the best afternoon on a lunch tour visiting their favourite haunts, learning about the italian way of life when it comes to food and wine, and trying all kinds of dishes. The food was absolutely delicious in every single restaurant we went too. We were in a small group which was really comfortable. I only wish that we had done it earlier in our trip so that we could return to some of the restaurants we visited. Both ladies were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The BEST food and wine in Italy !

A must do in Sorrento
The Bella Sorrento Sera Progressive Dinner is so good that this was my second time booking. My first experience was with my mom last summer then again last week with my husband on our honeymoon. It is such a great way to kick off your trip to Sorrento. Not only are you provided with incredible food but you get to learn about the history and culture behind the food you are eating. It was really nice being able to try places off the beaten path and experience places where the locals go. Great night eating and learning about Sorrento.
Lee, our host, was charming and engaging with lots of local knowledge about the food, wine, people and history of Sorrento and Campania. We stopped at four different establishments for a series of great food and drink. We had antipasti/charcuterie, then pastas, then fantastic steak, dolce and then a night cap. These were places where Sorrento residents go - neighborhood places, not restaurants that focus on tourists. Through luck, we ended up being the only couple on the tour with Lee. So by the end of the night, it felt like a night out dining and chatting with an old friend, not a tour guide. Great night all around.
